Fitness tracking App
Where Users Got Stuck
Fitness apps often overwhelm before they motivate.
Workouts, progress metrics, and recommendations appeared all at once, without a clear hierarchy. Key information like today’s focus, workout duration, and progress status competed for attention.
Instead of building momentum, the experience created pressure.
Motivation faded. Consistency dropped.

Designing a Calmer Fitness Flow
We redesigned the experience around clarity, encouragement, and focus.
Workouts were reorganized into clean, card-based layouts that highlight what matters most—duration, intensity, body focus, and progress—at a glance.
Each screen was designed to reduce decision fatigue and help users move forward with confidence.

Our Mission
Fitness should feel supportive, not stressful.
Our goal was to help users understand their progress instantly, choose workouts confidently, and stay consistent without feeling judged.
A calm visual system, predictable layouts, and encouraging microcopy became the foundation of the experience.

The Roadmap
We mapped the full fitness journey—from workout discovery to long-term progress tracking—and removed friction at every step.
Workout selection was simplified, AI recommendations were surfaced naturally, and progress views were redesigned to feel motivating instead of intimidating. Navigation was streamlined so the next step is always clear.
Design Choices That Mattered
Clear daily focus indicators
Scannable workout cards
Consistent spacing and navigation
Information was grouped logically across workouts, progress, and recommendations. Visual noise was reduced, and every interaction was designed to feel intuitive—without explanation.

The Results
The redesign didn’t just look better, it performed better:
+54% increase in weekly active users
+39% improvement in workout completion rate
+42% higher engagement with AI-powered recommendations
−46% early user drop-off
−51% “overwhelmed” user feedback
